SUMMERTOWN Stars White climbed to the top of the Oxford Mail Girls’ League Under 11 table with a 4-2 home win over Harwell & Hendred.

Leschea Guiste fired home a hat-trick for the hosts and Charlotte Evans also scored, with Amber Hanson and Rosie Cullen replying for the visitors.

A goal in each half from Anna Hamerow secured a 2-0 win for Summertown Stars Red at home to Charlbury.

Hamerow prodded Summertown into an early lead and although the visitors pressed for an equaliser towards the end of the half they could not find a way through.

Hamerow doubled her tally after the break from close range and Stars were able to comfortably see out the remainder of the match.

Under 12 Blue League leaders Carterton Town maintained their perfect record with a 9-0 home win over Hook Norton.

Ruby Colleton smashed in four goals and Ellie Walecki notched a hat-trick, with Lauren Warnes and Katie Gough also getting their names on the scoresheet.

In the Under 16 League, Summertown Stars lost 6-2 at Highworth Town.

Chloe Scanlon bagged a four-timer for the hosts, while Charlotte Weisinger and Jade Duckett also scored.

Kemeca Gayle hit the only goal of the game to send Barton United through to the semi-finals of the Oxfordshire FA Under 14 Girls’ Cup, with a 1-0 home win over Kidlington.

The decisive moment came in the first half when Ellie Gomersall latched onto Wiktoria Maliszewska’s long ball before crossing for Gayle to slot home.

Giorgia Laird struck in extra time to give Oxford City Under 14s a 2-1 success at Tower Hill Vixens.

Ellie Bunyan’s late equaliser for Vixens took the match into extra time after Emma Parker had put City in front midway through the second half.

Laird hit the winner a minute into the additional period.

Oxford City Under 13s are also in the semi-finals following a 3-0 win at Kidlington Hawks.

A goal in each half from Maria Jennings sandwiched an Amanda Osarabo strike on the brink of half-time to send City through.

There was a treble for Alana Jones in the quarter-final of the Oxfordshire FA Under 16 Girls’ Cup as she helped Carterton Town to a 4-1 victory at home to Chinnor.

Sophie Riley opened the sco-ring for the home side before two goals from Jones put the tie firmly in Town’s control.

Lucy Daniels pulled one back, but Jones completed a hat-trick to secure her side’s passage to the semi-finals.

They will be joined by Kidlington Under 16s following their 3-1 victory over their club’s under 15 side.

Their superior experience showed in the first half as they hit three unanswered goals, with Casey Brennan scoring twice – once from the penalty spot – and Blanche Mayo also on the mark.

The under 15s were stronger in the second half and pulled a goal back through Lucy Durham, but were unable to reduce the deficit further.
