Samantha Bevan-Talbot bagged a first-half hat-trick as Tower Hill Ladies defeated Ascot United 4-0 in Southern Region Women’s League Northern Division 1 at West Witney Sports Ground.
Bevan-Talbot opened the hosts’ account on 27 minutes, before doubling her tally on 38 minutes.
Five minutes before half-time she completed her treble, with assists from Sophie Grimson and Lisa Freeman.
At the other end, Tower Hill’s hard-working backline denied visitors Ascot, who are without an away victory for two years, any clear chances.
Tower Hill continued their dominance after the break.
And it was left to Katie Wright to seal a well-deserved victory on 65 minutes with goal No4, superbly curling the ball directly into the net from a corner.
