YOUTH FOOTBALL: Pearce shines in first victory for Highfield
Highfield Juniors enjoyed their first Giles Sports Witney Youth Under 12 Blue League win of the season, 3-0 at Combe.
Sam Pearce gave them a 1-0 interval lead and they soon built on that.
This time Pearce was the provider, his throw being headed in by Tom Tyack.
Jessica Styles lobbed the keeper from close range to complete the triumph.
Two goals from Jaden Mole gave Tower Hill Stars a 2-1 success over Garden City in the Under 13 B league.
