FOOTBALL: Lulu on song as Stars lift crown

LULU von Pander hit a hat-trick as Summertown Stars Reds clinched the Under 10 Spring League title with a 5-1 victory at Kidlington.

Anna Hamerow gave the visitors the lead just before half-time, before von Pander doubled the advantage minutes into the second half.

The same player made it 3-0, but Kidlington reduced the deficit when Isabelle Thacker netted.

However, von Pander’s third goal made the points safe, with Freya MacLeod completing the scoring late on.

Leschea Guiste blasted five goals as Summertown Stars White beat Thame 7-1.

Charlotte Evans hit a double, with Thame’s reply coming from Anastasia Storey, who had made it 1-1.

Bardwell won 3-1 in their Under 15 Blue League top-of-the-table clash at Summertown Stars.

Beth Dutton (2) and Maisie Berry scored, with Ella Burt replying.

Natalie Sansom’s goal for Bloxham proved in vain as they lost 3-1 at Swindon Spitfires in the Under 14 League.

Helena Butcher, Nat Goodright and Lucy Good-right scored for the hosts.

Polly Hipkiss hit a second-half double as Kidlington Harriers won 3-0 at Thame in the Under 12 League.

Georgia Johnson had fired the visitors ahead in the opening period, before Hipkiss secured the points.

l GOALS from Annie Dennis, Chloe Bullock and Isabelle Henthorn proved in vain as Tower Hill Vixens lost 4-3 at home to Ruislip Rangers in the Under 13 La Liga.
