Tower Hill Ladies bowed out of the Oxfordshire County Cup following a 5-3 quarter-final defeat against Mansfield Road on Sunday.
The hosts started well, with Samantha Bevan-Talbot firing them ahead on 22 minutes with a chip.
However, Mansfield were level six minutes later when Rachael Mariam fired in, before Holly Bridge gave Mansfield a 2-1 lead.
And it got worse for Tower Hill as both Mariam and Bridge completed doubles to put Mansfield 4-1 ahead.
But Tower Hill didn’t give up, with Bevan-Talbot cutting the deficit with her second goal.
Tower Hill conceded an own goal, before Emma Proctor headed in their third, but the damage was done.
