Tower Hill Ladies let slip the lead as they lost 2-1 at fourth-placed Fleetland in the Southern Women’s League Division 1 on Sunday.

It had started so brightly for the visitors who took an early lead.

Carla Garrison broke down the right wing before smashing the ball into the top left corner of the net from 18 yards.

However, their celebrations had barely died down when Fleetland levelled after a mistake from keeper Mel Gilbert.

And it got worse before the interval when Fleetland went ahead.

Tower Hill battled gamely in an attempt to get back into the game after the break, but were unable to put away their chances.

On Sunday, Tower Hill entertain MK City.
