Yasine Lamzini was Oxford Academy’s hero with an extra-time winner in their 4-3 victory at St Bartholomew’s (Newbury) in the ESFA Under 16 Premier League Schools’ Cup fifth round.

The two sides had been locked together at 3-3 at the end of normal time, with Siyanda Gila scoring twice and Theo Bedzi also netting for Oxford.

They are now at home to Testwood (Totton) in the last 32.

Edie Stilwell-Garrett scored twice as Wallingford won 3-2 at St Bartholomew’s in the ESFA Girls’ Under 14 PlayStation Schools’ Cup fourth round Molly Gallagher also netted for Wallingford, who are now away to Barking Abbey in the last 32.

Nadya Mussa Maingu hit a hat-trick as Cheney (Oxford) won 6-1 at home to John Mason (Abingdon) in the Oxfordshire Girls’ Under 13 Cup second round.

Ellie Lygo bagged a brace and Mya Morris also netted to help Cheney into the last four.

Courtney Sumner delivered a double as Cheney beat Oxford rivals Matthew Arnold to reach the Oxfordshire Girls’ Under 16 Cup semi-finals.

Molly Lygo-Jackson was also on target.
