Vale of White Horse Schools Under 13s swept aside North Dorset 8-1 in the Meeson Trophy at Milton United.

Harry Thomas gave Vale the lead from close range, but North Dorset equalised with a penalty following a rare breakaway.

Vale then took charge with James Stewart scoring twice to make it 3-1 at half-time.

Further goals followed in the second half from Jack Earl (2), Pablo Martinez, Thomas’s second and Luke Trice.

MARLBOROUGH (Woodstock) marched on in the ESFA Under 14 PlayStation Schools’ Cup with a 5-2 home win over Sir Henry Floyd (Aylesbury) in the fourth round.

Aaron Heap and Craig Fasanmade bagged braces, with George McEachran also on target.

Courtney Sumner scored twice as Cheney (Oxford) won 4-0 at Walton High (Milton Keynes) in the ESFA Girls’ Under 15 PlayStation Schools’ Cup fourth round. Jasmine Godfrey and Molly Lygo-Jackson also netted.

ST Birinus (Didcot) beat King Alfred’s (Wantage) 3-1 in the Vale of White Horse boys’ under 12 five-a-side final at Faringdon Community College.

James Pearson, Harry Fisher and an own goal did the damage for St Birinus, with Morgan Carter replying.

In the semi-finals, St Birinus beat John Mason (Abingdon) 4-1, while King Alfred’s saw off Larkmead (Abingdon) 1-0.
