Oxford FC are in hot water with the Oxfordshire FA after walking off the field five minutes from the end of their Critchleys Upper Thames Valley League Hedley Toms/Michael Brown quarter-final against Oxford Yellows at Rover Cowley.
With Yellows leading 6-0, referee Keith Godfrey was in the process of booking an Oxford player when the rest of the side reportedly walked off in protest.
Godfrey, who declined to comment, sent a report of the incident to the OFA, who will decide the appropriate sanction. It is likely that the result will stand.
Johnny McMahon and Ryan Brooks scored twice for Yellows with Tom Gaughan and Mark Scanes also netting.
