Tom Franklin bagged a brace as Kidlington Royals won 4-3 at AFC Jericho to go six points clear at the top of Critchleys Upper Thames Valley League Division 1, writes TIM SIRET.

Lewis Coyle and a Ryan Curtin penalty made up Royals’ tally, with Jack Hayhurst, Sam Crothers and Marley Joseph replying.

Dave Norris’s double helped Brightwell FC to their first league win at the eighth attempt following a 3-1 home success over Mansfield Road.

Stuart Head also netted for the victors, with Max Burton the Mansfield Road marksman.

Standlake Garage remain pointless following a 5-2 defeat at Oxford FC.

Fungai Whata, a Karl Kurtz own goal, Henry Alkali, Jodet Ali and George Espoir did the damage for Oxford.

Charlie Cooke and Mev Gundem were on target for Standlake, who also had Gary Mitchell’s penalty saved by Zaid Omar.

Lloyd Little smashed a five-timer in Yellow Eagles’ 10-1 destruction of hosts Red Lion Islip, who started with nine men, in Division 2.

Simon Hill, Ricky Goodenough, Chris White, Ryan Simpson and Robert Padbury also netted, with Ryan Cork’s strike providing scant consolation for Red Lion.

Stuart Coppock’s hat-trick for Research Machines was only good enough to earn a 3-3 draw at King & Queen Wheatley.

Craig Thomas (2) and Shane Whalley were on the mark for King & Queen Wheatley.

Robert Hatt hit a hat-trick in Northway Boys & Girls' 5-1 home win over Freeland Yeoman in Division 3A.

Carl Hibbins and Daniel Lawrence were also on target, with Darius Hodaei replying.

Tomasz Serednicki scored and was sent off in Zubry Oxford’s 3-1 win at Forest Hill. Michal Kraszewski bagged a brace, with Westley Brandish replying.
