Brightwell finally got their first point after five straight defeats with a 2-2 draw at home to Oxford FC in Critchleys UTV League Division 1.
Bradley Gray and new signing David Norris put the hosts in charge, but substitute Andrew Pantry hit a double as Oxford scrambled a point.
Martin Dawson blasted a hat-trick as Division 2 leaders Cholsey United won 6-0 at home to Rutherford Lab.
Andy Allum grabbed a brace and Matty Leach hit the other.
Yellow Eagles moved up to second with a 6-2 home win over Saxton Pirates.
David Philips (2), Ryan Simpson (2), Lloyd Little and Rupert Fryer made up Eagles’ tally. Paul Moran and Sam Childs netted for Pirates.
Chris Stringer fired a four-timer in Sutton Wanderers’ 8-2 rout of Didcot Casuals.
Scott Radbourne, Ben Wright, Ryan Leahy and Kevin irvine also netted in Wanderers’ first away win. James Wilcox and James Clark were on target for Casuals.
