Iffley Harriers, of Critchleys UTV League Division 3, provided a big shock by dumping out Division 1 side OUP Wanderers 3-1 in the Oxfordshire FA Sam Waters Sunday Cup second round, writes TIM SIRET.
Wanderers took the lead through Luke Murphy, but it all went wrong in the second half as hosts Harriers hit back through Silver Murati’s penalty, Jack Allen and Leon Carter.
Now Harriers are away to Highfield Social Club in the third round.
Holders AFC Hinksey stormed through with an emphatic 11-2 destruction of hosts Checkendon.
Kieron Davis, with four goals, and hat-trick hero Jelroy Constant led the spree, which was completed by Lance Williams, Steve Haines’s 25-yarder, Jamie McCuaig and player-manager Gavin Preston.
Williams could even afford to miss a penalty in the first half.
Lenny Sackey bagged a brace as Kings Arms Wheatley came away from Reading side Mapledurham Cavaliers with a 4-2 win.

AFC Jericho breezed through with an impressive 5-0 home win against Goring United, with doubles from Marley Joseph and Kamen Matthews plus an Alex Silva strike.
