BARTON United and AFC Jericho shared the spoils in a big clash at the top of the Critchleys UTV League Premier Division, writes MATTHEW HARDY.

Marley Joseph’s goal earned a 1-1 draw for visiting Jericho, with Drew Fowler netting for the hosts.

Zubry Oxford picked up their first league win with an impressive 7-3 triumph over Blackbird, courtesy of hat-tricks from Michal Filipowicz and Andrzej Krason.

Tomasz Samoluk scored Zubry’s other goal, with Carl Broomfield (2) and Julian McCalmon on target for the visitors.

Division 1 leaders Woodstock Wanderers continued their unbeaten start to the season with a fine 2-0 win at home to Forest Hill, a Chris Marsh brace proving the difference.

North Oxford Conservative Club thumped Black Swan 8-0 away, Wayne Townsend and Joey Beauchamp helping themselves to two goals each.

David Harper, Steven Doyle, Luke Murphy and Antony Davies also found the net.

David Murphy chalked up a hat-trick to help The Village Inn to a 4-2 win at Sporting Headington Academicals.

Chris Royall also struck for the away side, with defenders Brendan Bradley and James Watson registering well-taken consolation goals for Sporting.

Ashley Buttress and Chris Peck both scored twice as Railway Wheatley defeated White Horse Abingdon 7-2.

Seb Warner, Jordan Reid and James Beesley also got themselves on the scoresheet for the hosts.

Cholsey United lead the way in Division 2 following their thrilling 5-3 victory at Exeter Rangers.

Martin Dawson scored twice for Cholsey, alongside strikes from Craig Passey, Liam Woods and Jack McLaghlin, while Tom Knox bagged two and John Webb also netted for Exeter.

BSSC Abba thrashed a depleted Standlake Garage 11-0 which left the hosts searching for their first point.

Michael Trafford notched four goals, Nigel Taylor struck twice and there were also efforts from Mark White, Mark Nicholl, Olly Bagnall and Timmy Denvill, with the hosts also scoring an own goal.

There were braces for Mitchell Larman and Marcus Hooke as Sutton Courtenay Rovers hammered visitors Checkendon Exiles 6-0 to go top of Division 3.

Jack Butler and Daniel Sumner also found the net.

Watlington Town also hit half a dozen, as they won 6-1 at North Oxford Conservative Club Res.

Charlie Silkstone bagged four of his side’s goals and Patrick Izzett and Tom Bus also scored, with Luke Carter netting the home side’s consolation.

Rob Cattell netted twice and Mark Williamson and Will Davenport also scored as JET FC were beaten 4-1 at home to Golden Ball.

Graeme Smith was on target for the vanquished hosts.
