AFC Brightwell beat Abba Athletic 3-1 in Division 3 – the only game to beat the weather.
Jack McLaughlin fired visiting Brightwell into a fifth-minute lead, only for Mark Goody to equalise.
A fine ball from Liam Bonner saw Kieran Strange hit a superb volley to make it 2-1 at half-time.
And despite being on the back foot for most of the second half, a breakaway goal from Charlie Silkstone wrapped up the points for Brightwell.
