Division 3 Abba Athletic heaped  further misery on Division 1 basement side Rutherford, beating their higher-league visitors 4-2 in the Critchleys UTV League's Devenney Cup.
Shane Proberts struck twice for the hosts and Robert Atherton also netted for Abba, but Wayne Harwood’s delightful chip to lob the goalkeeper was the pick of the bunch.
Al Cal and John Hawkin were on the scoresheet for Rutherford, but it wasn’t enough as they fell to another defeat.
Abingdon Exiles came from behind to beat Green Tree Wallingford 4-3 in a thrilling encounter.
Josh Haynes gave Exiles the lead before a Martin Dawson brace and another from Sam Elkins gave the visitors a 3-1 advantage.
But Exiles rallied, Haynes netted a second and levelled through Pat Clarke, before Richard Walker scored a late winner.
Woodstock Wanderers were comfortable 4-2 victors over Jet FC.
Ryan Doran scored a brace alongside goals from Dav Villiers and Matty Taylor.
Andrew Steer and Darrell Barrett scored Jet’s consolation efforts.
Iffley Harriers lost by the odd goal in five at home to Barton United.
 

Efforts from Chris Morgan and Jebran Hussein not enough to prevent them falling to a defeat as Ben Green, Craig Dean and Jamie McCaig steered the visitors to the win.
 

Jericho were taken to extra time by Division 2 side North Oxford Conservative Club, but edged through 5-4 with a late winner.
 

Ben Potter was almost the hero for Conservative Club, scoring all four of the visitors’ goals.
 

But a Ben Curtis brace, efforts from Aaron Williams and Aston Shaw and an own goal saw the Premier Division outfit through.
 

Matt Wigley struck twice as Forest Hill scraped past Sutton Wanderers 3-2.
Simon Diffley was also on target for the home side while the lively Andrew Conways bagged both of the Wanderers goals.
 

Black Swan thrashed Division 3   Great Western Park 7-1 away from home. 

Clint Hedges scored a hat-trick to add to a brace from Ross Tabor and  efforts from David Carter and Danny Cox.
Ian Brooker scored for the hosts.

 

 

In league action, Cowley Marsh Eagles top the Premier Division after their emphatic 4-1 away win at Blacks Head Bletchingdon in the Premier Division.

Sean Dean, Mani Mara, Soada Ajneibi and Andrew Paintry were all on target for the visitors, with Tom Knox netting the Blacks Head consolation.

Freeland Yeoman preserved their 100 per cent record in Division 1 with a comfortable 4-1 victory at home to Railway Wheatley, Rob Keylock giving the hosts the lead before Wheatley levelled with an incredible 30-yard strike.

Freeland secured the points with a late flurry of goals, Danny Taylor firing in 15 minutes from time, with James Turner and Arran Hobley sealing the rout.

Northway Res chalked up their fourth consecutive home victory in Division 2, thrashing Standlake Garage 9-2.
They romped home thanks to hat-tricks from Ryan Barnett and Aaron Williams, a double from Joe Cook, plus a Charlie Dunsmuir strike.
It didn’t all go Northway’s way, however, as goalkeeper Luke Watts picked up a knee injury which could keep him out for several weeks.
In Division 3, goals from Aiden Rowe and George Cottrell helped Watlington Town to a 2-2 draw at home to New Club.
They cancelled out Dan Smith’s effort and Nathan Bone’s own goal.
Dilly United suffered an 8-1 thrashing at AFC Brightwell.
Jack McCoughlin bagged himself a hat-trick, while there were braces for Charlie Silkstone and Drew Farquarharsen.
Robby Spencer wrapped-up the rout, with Jamie Bovis on target for the shell-shocked visitors.
