COWLEY Marsh Eagles put their Critchleys UTV Premier Division title credentials on show when they cruised to a 6-1 win over Zubry, writes DARYL RIDGLEY.

Andrzej Krason got on the scoresheet for Zubry, but he was put in the shade by a treble from Shaun Dean.

Sony Dikokobele, Sekou Bangoura and Fama Jayson Mara also netted.

AFC Jericho lost for the first time this season, beaten 5-4 by Barton.

Jericho’s goals were scored by Aston Shaw, Kieron Gallacher, Ben Curtis and Marley Joseph.

Johnny McMahon plundered eight goals as Oxford Sports and Social Club hammered Blacks Head Bletchington 18-3.

Anaclet Odhiambo helped himself to five goals, while Julian McCalmon (2), Drew Fowler (2), and Callum McMahon completed the rout. Tom Knox, Jack Morgan and Matt Pearce replied.

In Division 1, Freeland continue to make hay at the top following a 4-2 win over Iffley.

Iffley netted through Jack Barratt and Bernard Meta with the winning goals for Freeland coming from Rob Keylock and Danny Taylor, who bagged a hat-trick.

Railway Wheatley fell to a 2-1 home defeat against Sporting Headington Accies.

Aaron Laman gave Railway the perfect start, but Max Burton and substitute Dave Hootow turned it around.

AFC Valley pipped Tree Grove 5-4. Two goals for Richard Morgan and one apiece for Andrew Cummings, Shaun Smith and Chris Shahab secured all three points.

Green Tree goals came from Tom Eastwell and Luke Fairclough, who both scored twice.

Abingdon Exiles pipped North Oxford Conservative Club 4-2 in Division 2.

Richard Walker opened the scoring for Abingdon but North Oxford were soon 2-1 up.

Walker scored again, before Russ Madley and a Pat Clarke penalty gave Abingdon victory.

Goals from Phil Stringer, Andrew Conway, Mike James and Chris Stringer saw Sutton Wanderers home 4-3 against White Horse Abingdon.

Jack Hackett, Carl Archer and an own goal were White Horse’s reward.

Dave Woodley and Patrick Isitt scored for Checkendon as they went down 5-2 to Forest Hill.

David Murphy hit a double hat-trick as The Village Inn hammered Standlake Garage 7-0. Max Palmer got the other goal.

In Division 3, ABBA lost 3-0 to JET, whose goals came from John James (2) and Kieron Dawson.

Wallingford Cross Keys moved into the Berks & Bucks Junior Trophy third round after convincingly beating The Paggies 5-1.

Andrew Gibbons (2), Tyrone Morris, Elliott Middleton and Ben Cordery netted for Cross Keys, with Andrew Coates scoring a consolation.

Keys finished the game with 10 men having had Kane Galliford sent off for a bad challenge.

Milton Midgets went down 5-4 in a thrilling encounter with Thatcham Athletico.

Midget goalscorers were Brian Kerry (2), and one each from Luke Mitchell and Paddy Regan.

Black Swan were made to work extremely hard for a pass into the next round.

Their clash with New Boys Elite finished 2-2, but Swan scraped through 6-5 in a nerve-jangling penalty shoot-out.

Gary Brown and James Foster got themselves on the scoresheet during normal play.
