Ryan O’Hanlon smashed a hat-trick for Tree Grove in their 8-4 win over Northway in the first round of the Devenney Cup, with braces for Danny Trott and Tony Itway adding to a goal from Tom Barrett for the hosts.
Woodstock Wanderers hammered AFC Brightwell 5-0, with strikes from Ryan Doran, Simon Manning and Steve Foreman as well as a brace from Carl Yeason.
Wallingford Cross Keys were 3-2 winners away at Freeland Yeoman, goals from Neil Carrington, Lewis Cheney and Andrew Gibbons proving the difference despite the hosts scoring through Simon Cally and an own goal.
New Club were also narrowly beaten, 3-2 at home to North Oxford Conservative Club, as efforts from Sammy Graham and Chris Kenning for the hosts were cancelled out by an Evan Doyle brace and a Surgay Broka strike.
