A DEPLETED Barton United came from behind to win 4-3 at home to Blacks Head Bletchingdon in the Premier Division.

The hosts, who started with eight players and only finished with nine, trailed 2-1 at half-time as Tom Payne’s strike was cancelled out by goals from Jordan Bye and John Webb.

Richard Hathaway equalised before Tom Knox edged the visitors in front, but a Payne penalty and a strike from Dave Lester sealed a dramatic victory.

Aston Shaw scored twice as AFC Jericho made it two wins from two with a 3-2 home win over Oxford FC.

Keiron Gallagher grabbed the hosts’ other goal, while Jodet Ali and Farma Mara scored for the visitors.

Danny Taylor scored four as Freeland Yeoman opened their Division 1 campaign with a 7-3 win at Northway Boys & Girls.

Tom Gerken also hit a hat-trick for the away side, who swept aside the hosts, for whom Dennis Moore, Marvin Martin and Robert Hatt were on target.

Iffley Harriers were also among the goals, romping to a 6-0 victory at home side AFC Valley.

Jack Barrett led the way with a brace, while Dan Bond, Dan Pear, Ciaran Clancey and Chris Morgan also netted.

Brendan Bradley’s double led Sporting Headington Academicals to a 4-1 victory at Rutherford.

Ben Wright and Max Birsten also notched, while John Hawkin hit the home side’s consolation.

The Tree Grove completed a clean sweep of away wins in the division with a 4-2 success at Railway Wheatley.

Elliott O’Brien scored twice for the home side, but a hat-trick from Nick Wilkins and one from Ollie O’Hanlon were on target for The Tree.

David Murray’s hat-trick inspired a clinical Village Inn to a 5-1 win at Abingdon Exiles in Division 2.

Colin Royal and Max Palmer also took their chances. John Hudson replied for the Exiles.

Doubles for Chris Stringer and Matt Hammond set Sutton Wanderers up for a 5-1 success at Checkendon Exiles.

Luke French wrapped up their scoring, while Daniel Carter registered for the hosts.

James Broughton and George Hoaraou both claimed hat-tricks as JET beat visitors Long Wittenham 6-3 in Division 3.

Lewis Manghan (2) and Steve Molloy were on target for the away side.

Milton Midgets went one better as they ran out 7-0 winners at home to Great Western Park.

Kris Kaveney scored twice, while Brian Kerry, Scott Radbourne, Ben Rushden, James Carlini and an own goal completed their tally.
