Kidlington Royals completed a unique trophy treble by thumping Sutton Wanderers 6-0 in the Critchleys Upper Thames Valley League's Devenney Cup final at Abingdon Town, writes TIM SIRET.

Royals, who had already captured the Hedley Toms/Michael Brown Trophy and the Oxfordshire FA Sam Waters Sunday Cup, were hot favourites to rack up the hat-trick against the Division 2 minnows.

And Ryan Curtin made sure the Premier League outfit weren’t going to suffer an upset with a fantastic five-goal show.

He scored twice in the first half, and then added a second-half hat-trick as Royals ran away with the final. Jelroy Constant sealed the emphatic victory with Kidlington’s sixth goal.

Division 1 side Rutherford Lab eased past Division 3 outfit JET 5-1 in the Alan Alder Trophy semi-finals.

John Hawkins scored twice, with Ian Bowler, Dave Templeman and Ronnie Brumfitt completing the hosts’ tally. Mark Lockwood replied for JET.

Rutherford’s oponents in Sunday’s final at Abingdon Town (6pm) will be Division 2 side Forest Hill, who won 2-0 at home to Division 3 club Watlington Wanderers in the other semi-final.

Matt Wigley grabbed both Forest Hill goals.

Champions Oxford Sports & Social Club became the first club to complete a Premier League season with maximum points following a 5-3 home win over AFC Jericho.

Craig Hambridge bagged a brace, with Jamie Debanks, Carly Bloomfield and Aaron Armstrong also on target as Oxford made it 12 wins from as many games.

Dan New, Kyle Pullen and Marley Joseph netted for Jericho.

Newly-crowned Division 2 champions The Tree Grove were given a scare before maintaining their unbeaten home record with a 5-4 victory over Ridgeway Cup winners Freeland Yeoman.

Tree trailed 3-0, but hit back to triumph with Rob Joyce (2), Nick Wilkins, Luke Faircloth and Adam Bruce on target.

Danny Taylor and Simon Calley delivered doubles for the Yeoman.

It was honours even in the big Division 1 clash with Zubry Oxford drawing 1-1 at home to leaders Red Lion Islip.

Tomasz Serednicki fired Zubry in front, but Jimmy Deabill levelled.
