Matt Townsend scored at both ends as Brize Norton were beaten 2-1 by Broughton & North Newington in the quarter-final of the John Fathers Oxfordshire Junior Shield.
The scores were level at 1-1 with moments left, Townsend netting Brize's opener before Chris Tillcock equalised.
But a mix-up in the Brize box ended with a clearance rebounding of Townsend into his own net, which gave Broughton victory.
