ORIGINAL Swan needed extra-time before beating hosts Florence Park 5-3 in the semi-final of the Oxford City FA’s Couling Cup.

Sean Hurcombe scored a brace for Swan, whose other goals came from Ben Curtis, Machias Henry and Liam O’Callaghan.

Chequers won 7-3 away to Headington Butchers in the quarter-finals of the Doug Hobbs Cup.

After conceding an early goal to Sergi Potimba, the visitors hit back with a brace apiece from Shane Roache, Martino Ventriglia and Leighton Moss, while Luke Murphy scored a single goal.

  • CHARLTON completed the double over Cropredy in the Oxfordshire Senior League with a 2-1 win after benefiting from a pitch switch.

Because their opponents’ ground was flooded, the Premier Division contest was moved to Charlton, who made the most of home advantage.

Cropredy took an interval lead through Chay Buckingham, but the new hosts triumphed with second-half strikes from Callum Cooper and Dave Iglus, whose winner came two minutes from time.
