CROPREDY continued to set a red-hot pace at the top of the Oxfordshire Senior League Premier Division with a resounding 7-1 victory at home to Horspath.
Strikes from Dan Reeves, Luc Thornton and Chris Horn gave the hosts a 3-0 interval lead.
Thornton doubled his tally after the break and Dan Watkins curled home No 5.
Horspath pulled a goal back through when Sam Gordon headed home from a corner.
But Cropredy added to their tally through Sean Dineen and James McMahon to seal a their fourth straight victory.
Cropredy Res came from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 at Yarnton in Division 2.
Goals from Jamie Smith and Sean Simmons put Yarnton 2-0 up at the break.
Reduced to nine men by injuries, Cropredy fought back thanks to a header from Timothy Bennett and a strike from Dan Bartlett in the fifth minute of added time.
DORCHESTER could afford to miss a penalty as they trounced visitors Great Milton Res 6-3 in the Oxford City FA.
The hosts failed to score in the opening 20 minutes, when Jordan Lyne, who had been fouled, saw his spot-kick saved.
But once George Kay opened the scoring, the floodgates opened, with Lewis Aprea and Alex Kerry finding the target from 25 yards.
Milton’s best player Ryan Hicks pulled a goal back and then netted from 20 yards to give his side hope at 3-2.
Kay’s second goal for Dorchester made it 4-2 at half-time.
Lyne struck twice in the second half to put Dorchester out of sight.
But the visitors did not let their heads drop, and Jack Drewitt pulled back a late breakaway goal to make it 6-3.
Oxford Brookes University won 3-2 at East Oxford in the only other league match.
