JACK Morton’s 26th goal of the season helped Hanborough through to the semi-finals of the Witney & District FA’s Fred Ford Cup as they beat Aston on penalties after a 1-1 draw, writes HARRY ROSE.

Lee Beer’s goal for Aston took the match to a penalty shoot-out, where Hanborough edged through 4-3.

Chris McNeil scored the only goal as Carterton Town A scraped to a 1-0 victory away to Combe.

Kirtlington eased through to the last four with a 4-1 win at Witney Royals, courtesy of goals from Nathan Kelly, Shane Probitts, Ross Gray and Jake East. Harry Hamblin netted for Royals.

Seb White bagged a hat-trick as Minster Lovell moved off the bottom of the Premier Division table with an 8-0 mauling of hosts Chipping Norton Town.

Gary Mitchell hit a brace and Sam Wright, Josh White and John Fletcher netted one each.

Leaders Charlbury Town extended their cushion at the top of the division to ten points with a narrow 2-1 win at home to Spartan Rangers.

Dave Cross scored for Rangers, but Charlbury won it thanks to goals from Gareth Benfield and Craig McCallum.

Carterton Rangers closed the gap at the top of Division 1 to five points with a 5-0 win at Stonesfield.

Carl Shirley hit a hat-trick, while Jonny Dover and Andrew Stone were also on target.

There was also a treble for Chris Laurence as FC Nomads won 5-2 at home to Milton.

Rob Brown and Charlie Nelson were also on target for Nomads, with Leigh Hilary and Jim Littlewood netting the Milton consolations.

Chadlington made it back-to-back wins with a 2-1 success over Moreton Rangers.

Jarvis Morley struck twice alongside a Warren Holland effort for the hosts, while Lee Stefanovich replied for Moreton.
