NEWCOMERS Lusitanos Oxford went top of the Oxford City FA with a resounding 9-0 win at home to Thame United Churches.
There were hat-tricks for Bruno Freitas and Cesinha Bueno, while Pal Kovacs, Diego Campos and Daniel Maximiano scored one apiece.
Otis Woodward hit four goals as Chequers beat Union Street 4-3 in a feisty game at Oxford Academy.
Chequers led 2-1 at half time, with a brace from Woodward. James Cunning replied for Street.
Woodward completed his hat-trick to make it 3-1 on the hour.
With ten minutes to go, Chequers’ Craig Dean was sent off for verbal abuse of the referee.
Street struck back with two quick goals from Simon Palmer and Alex Pratchett to level matters, only for Woodward to strike a late fourth to seal the points for Chequers.
Headington Butchers enjoyed a 7-1 home win over Chinnor A, thanks to goals from David Vickers (2), Sam Weitzel (2), Sander Aben (2) and Jon Doye.
St Ebbes Headington won 5-1 away to Summertown, scoring three goals in the first 35 minutes and two more in the second half.
Substitute Max Rothwell produced Summertown’s only reply.
