FOOTBALL: Summertown slump to first defeat at hands of St Ebbes
ST EBBES inflicted a first defeat of the season on Summertown in the Oxford City FA, beating them 3-2.
Stuart Rainey, Andy McGregor and Josh Horn got St Ebbes’ goals, with Alex Thompson and Ben Williams scoring for Summertown.
Fairview won 4-1 at Thame United Churches, with Martin McCaguie firing a brace and Dan Clevic and Robert Mahon also scoring in an entertaining game which saw Fairview produce impressive build-up play for two of their goals.
Mike Webb scored a consolation for Thame, who missed too many chances to trouble Fairview.
