SEAN Hurcombe scored a hat-trick as Oxford University Press gained a convincing 4-2 victory over Oxfordshire Senior League Premier Division leaders Adderbury.

A Hurcombe strike plus a goal from Sam Wharton saw OUP take a 2-0 half-time lead.

Junior Howard pulled one back for Adderbury, only for Hurcombe to score two more to complete his hat-trick and secure victory for the Pressmen.

Launton Sports got back to winning ways with a 3-1 success at Horspath.

After a goalless first half of little goalmouth action, the visitors took the lead thanks to Ben Cooke’s 20-yard belter.

Mark Scaines doubled the advantage in the 58th minute, before Craig Pitson scored from the penalty spot to keep Horspath in the game.

But the hosts secured their own downfall soon after when Cooke’s cross found its way into the back of the net via a Horspath defender.
