MARSTON Saints levelled twice to claim a 2-2 draw at home to Bletchingdon in the Oxfordshire Senior League Premier Division.

Todd Parker Hunt put the visitors in front after 15 minutes, finishing a clever move from a free-kick.

But early in the second half Matty Holton despatched a penalty to equalise following a push on Alex Allen.

Bletchingdon restored their lead in the 65th minute when Nick Allsworth slotted home, but Elliot Powells slipped in a second equaliser from an acute angle.

Riverside became the first team to avoid defeat in the league against leaders Oakley United as they held the visitors to a goalless draw.

Sean Hurcombe’s goal gave Oxford University Press a 1-0 home win over Chalgrove.

The decisive moment came on the hour mark when Sam Wharlton’s header cannoned back off the crossbar into the path of Hurcombe, who volleyed in the rebound.

A Josh Northam brace gave Broughton & North Newington Res a 2-1 victory over Oakley United Res in Division 2 on Thursday evening.

Adam Pike replied for the visitors, but it wasn’t enough.

Adderbury dominated the second half, but were denied on countless occasions by goalkeeper Gavin Busby.

Two second-half goals gave Yarnton Res a 2-0 victory at Oakley United Res.

Matt Robertson volleyed home the opener, before Ben Coupland’s late spot-kick sealed it for the visitors.
