GOALKEEPER Craig Marsh scored twice to send Railway Wheatley to the top of the Critchleys UTV League Division 1 with a 5-0 victory at home to Northway, writes MATTHEW HARDY.
Seb Warner put the hosts a goal up at half-time and two quick strikes from Dan Normington early in the second half set Railway on track for a big win.
Marsh then surrendered his goalkeeping duties to add extra gloss to the result, striking home the fourth from the edge of the area, before completing the scoring with a powerful drive into the top corner.
Exeter Rangers won 2-1 at Milton Midgets to reach the final of the Alan Alder Trophy.
John-Paul Doyle scored for the hosts, but it wasn’t enough as goals from Daryl Boswell and John Webb sent the Division 2 strugglers through.
They will face Watlington Town Res, who won 3-1 at home to Jet courtesy of efforts from Tom Bliss, Patrick Isitt and Ben Kent. James Stock netted for the visitors.
