EYNSHAM slipped to third in the Premier Division table as their three-game winning streak came to an end with a 2-2 draw at Freeland.

The visitors needed a stunning 75th-minute equaliser from Rory Thompson to secure a point after falling behind early in the second half.

Both sides found the net within eight minutes of the start, with Craig Wood on target for the home side and Jamie Hodges scoring for Eynsham.

Freeland took the lead after 50 minutes when Conor Allmond slotted home a Tom Gerken cross, but Thompson’s late 35-yard volley ensured the sides shared the spoils.
