West Witney inflicted a first defeat of the season on Witney & District FA Premier Division leaders Carterton Town A, the home side winning 2-1.

Chris Hirons and Craig Mays scored for the hosts, with Tommy Burns pulling one back for Town.

Minster Lovell beat high-flying Chipping Norton Town 5-0.

Connor Tinsley scored twice with Nathan Harris, Martin Bull and Jordan Denley getting the others.

Steve Hunt hit a hat-trick to help Chadlington to their first win as they beat Hailey Res 4-1.

Jack Morgan netted the other, while Hailey’s only response came from an own goal.

David Pryse netted for FC Nomads but they lost 3-1 at home to Aston, with Benji Sunblad, Ryan Oliver and an own goal doing the damage.

Stonesfield maintained their 100 per cent Division 2 record with a 7-0 crushing of Hanborough Res.

Tom Green scored a hat-trick, Matthew Tarry netted twice while Mike Phipps and Chris Jordan also scored.

Carterton Town B beat Milton 3-1. Lee Manley, Dan Robinson and Oliver Bush scored for Town, with Max Win-Penny netting for Milton. Carterton Rangers started their campaign with an emphatic 5-1 win at home to Bampton United, Chris Smith netting twice and Dan Hall, Lee Keyes and James Baker scoring the others.

Tom Gregory and James Basson gave Witney Wanderers a 2-0 win at Ducklington Res.
