Original Swan completed an Oxford City FA treble with an emphatic 4-0 win over The George in the Couling Cup final at Abingdon Town.

With the league title and the County Junior League Cup in the bag, Swan took the lead midway through the first half when David Jennings fired home.

Ricky Anderson, the league’s top scorer, almost hauled George level with a lob which beat the keeper, but went just wide.

Ryan Macer increased the lead with a powerful shot.

In the second half, George, who were chasing a double, having won the Premier Cup, battled to get back into the game, but the Swan defence held firm.

The George then went down to ten men when Charlie Bishop went off with a knee injury after they had used all their substitutes.

They were then reduced to nine players when Mark Boaler was shown the red card after a scuffle.

Despite their two-man advantage, it wasn’t until five minutes from time that Swan capitalised.

Tino Ventriglia curled in a free-kick from outside the box on the left, and Stevie Andrews made it 4-0 with a shot from an acute angle.
