Didcot Town conceded two late goals to lose a pulsating Bank Holiday Evo-Stik Southern League Division 1 South & West clash against Hungerford Town at the Loop Meadow Stadium.

The Railwaymen took the lead on 15 minutes when Morgan Williams converted a Brian Bowles corner.

Didcot then had strong claims for a penalty turned down when Jon Boardman caught hold of the ball while lying flat-out in the box.

And it proved to be a key decision as ex-Didcot striker Mark Draycott levelled moments later with a brilliant stike from 25 yards.

Hungerford’s John Diak was sent off after receiving his second yellow card.

But it was the visitors who claimed all three points when Ben Pugh’s superb left-foot volley from outside the box flew into the far corner.

Attendance: 161.
