However, Mike Ford’s side got back into the game in the second half as Anthony Wright equalised on the hour mark.

Powell hit the bar late on for Royston, but Banbury earned a point.

In the East Division, Thame United conceded two late goals in losing 2-0 at Hartley Wintney.

Jake Baxter put the hosts in front three minutes from time, before Paul Hodges made the points safe at the death.

Kidlington fell to a 3-0 defeat at home to Evesham United in the West Division.

The visitors led at the break, thanks to Adam Mann’s strike.

Evesham doubled their lead on 49 minutes when Garyn Preen netted, before Ewen Dunbar added a third.

North Leigh’s fixture at Bideford was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
