NORTH Leigh hit five goals for the third friendly in a row as they romped to victory at Longlevens.

Following 5-0 successes against Woodstock Town and Lydney Town, the Millers finished 5-1 up in Gloucestershire.

Roger James opened the scoring in the 35th minute and the visitors added a second on the stroke of half-time, through Sam Mattock.

Will Wellon’s quick brace early in the second half put the result beyond doubt.

Jay Kennedy restored some pride for the Uhlsport Hellenic Premier Division side, but Mattock had the final say with a far post finish.

Didcot Town drew 1-1 away to Fleet Town at a wet Calthorpe Park.

Fleet made the better start and forced an early excellent save from Didcot’s triallist keeper Steven Caro, who flung himself to his left to keep out a close-range header.

However, the hosts were not be denied and their lively left-winger cut inside and cleverly lifted the ball over the helpless Caro to put them ahead.

The equaliser came in the 22nd minute when the elusiveCam McNeil raced forward down the left, cutting inside into the box and was hacked down for a clear penalty.

George Jeacock drilled the spot-kick high into the top corner to make it 1-1.

In the second half, Jeacock had two chances to win the game, but was denied both times.

The game also saw Sam Parish take part in the action for the first time in more than two years after illness.

Kidlington came from behind to win 2-1 at home to Flackwell Heath.

The Heathens took the lead in the 24th minute after a mistake from keeper Sam Warrell.

Just before the break, Kidlington equalised.

Ben Willoughby was fouled inside the area, and with usual dead-ball expert Lewis Coyle absent, Anaclet Odhiambo fired home the resultant penalty.

The second half saw Kidlington play a more advanced game and they took the lead in the 48th minute.

Following up Odhiambo’s shot that has been parried, Harry Whitehead hammered his shot into the back for his first goal for the club.

Although Kidlington had many more chance in the second half, they could not find a third goal.

Letcombe recorded a 4-1 victory away to an Ardington & Lockinge side containing several of their former players.

The visitors won the game in the first 15 minutes, when they scored goals through Russell Benham, Conor Lynch and Alexandre Fragata.

Letcombe missed numerous chances in the second half, before Lynch added a fourth goal five minutes from time.
