ELLIOTT Osborne-Ricketts, Anaclet Odhiambo and Lewis Coyle fired Kidlington to a 3-0 win over AFC Dunstable in a bad-tempered clash.

The promotion-chasing visitors ended the Division 1 Central encounter with nine players, while the hosts had substitute Mark Janes sent off late on.

Dunstable were reduced to ten men on 20 minutes when Bernie Christie was shown a straight red for violent conduct.

Despite that it was honours even in the first half, with Kidlington’s Coyle and Dunstable’s Jerome Hull going close.

But the Greens took the lead four minutes after the break as Osborne-Ricketts fired a 30-yard thunderbolt into the top corner.

Kidlington were now in control and doubled their lead from the penalty spot on 70 minutes as Odhiambo picked himself up to score.

The home side continued to pressurise the visitors and Coyle made it 3-0, netting from close range with 13 minutes remaining.

That was not thee end of the action, though, as an altercation between Janes and Dunstable’s Danny Murphy ended with both players being sent off.

Despite that, Julian McCalmon’s side, who face Aylesbury today, had done more than enough to secure victory and all but guarantee a top-half finish.
