DEBUTANT Riccardo Andrady scored a stoppage-time equaliser to earn Didcot Town a 2-2 draw at Bideford in the Evo-Stik Southern League.

The Railwaymen made a bad start to the Division 1 South & West clash, conceding in the second minute.

Goalkeeper Leigh Bedwell could only punch Sean Downing’s cross straight to Dan Western, who made no mistake in tapping home.

Didcot’s Louis Joyce scored immediately after half-time, but the hosts retook the lead ten minutes later, when Western chipped Bedwell.

Didcot pushed for an equaliser and Andrady, on loan from Woking, netted in the 95th minute.

North Leigh came from behind to beat Slimbridge 3-1 at home.

Lee Smith fired the visitors into a first-minute lead, but the Millers equalised on 15 minutes in bizarre fashion.

Bradley Gray’s tame effort looked comfortable for goalkeeper Adrian Kowalski, but somehow the ball rolled slowly into the net.

North Leigh controlled the second half and took the lead on 58 minutes, when Jamie Cook tapped in.

It was 3-1 six minutes later as Michael Hopkins rifled home and they comfortably saw out the victory, despite Jon Else’s red card for a two-footed tackle.

Wantage Town suffered a 4-1 defeat at home to Larkhall Athletic.

It was the Freds who scored first, though, as Sam Mason fired home on 28 minutes.

But the visitors were level a minute later, thanks to Stuart Tovey.

Ben Brooks made it 2-1 after the break, before Wantage’s Callum Preece was sent off for a second bookable offence.

Josh Egan and Joe Tumelty fired home to make sure of victory.

In Division 1 Central, Kidlington lost 2-1 at home to Histon.

Goals from Matty Allen and Dan Gleeson gave the visitors a 2-0 lead at half-time.

Jack Dunmall pulled a goal back on 52 minutes and despite dominating proceedings, the hosts could not find an equaliser.

Banbury United missed a late penalty as they lost 1-0 at Merthyr Town in the Premier Division.

Kayne McLagoon broke the deadlock on 74 minutes, firing into the far corner.

On 88 minutes the Puritans had a golden opportunity to claim a point after Luke Carnell was brought down in the area, but James Smith saw his penalty saved by Oliver Davies.
