DIDCOT Town made it four wins in a row, with a 1-0 victory at home to struggling Paulton Rovers.

Louis Joyce scored the only goal just minutes into the second half as the Railwaymen matched their best run of results since April 2014.

Paulton had enjoyed most of the play in the opening 45 minutes of the Evo-Stik Southern League Division 1 South & West encounter and Didcot goalkeeper Leigh Bedwell denied Kane Simpson.

The hosts, though, were straight out of the blocks after half-time and Joyce fired home on 47 minutes after latching on to Declan Benjamin’s pass.

Paulton could have levelled on 94 minutes as a long free-kick fell to Joe Chandler, but his header went wide.

Stuart Hole’s double helped North Leigh record back-to-back league wins for the first time since August with a 3-0 victory at AFC Totton.

The Millers took the lead on 23 minutes, when Lance Williams flicked the ball on to George Seacole, who outpaced two defenders and fired past goalkeeper Charlie Searle.

Seacole and Wayne Turk went close to doubling the Millers’ lead, but Manny Agboola was also forced into a fine stop in the North Leigh goal.

Totton put their visitors under pressure at the start of the second half, but the Oxfordshire side wrapped the game up with two quickfire goals.

Hole headed home a Michael Hopkins corner on 65 minutes and just four minutes later, the same players combined to make it 3-0.

Totton never gave up hope and Agboola made two excellent saves, before Seacole was denied by the fingertips of Searle at the other end.

Kidlington enjoyed a purple patch after the break, but were hit by two late goals.

Nic Ciardini scored on the counter, before Sam Pearce headed home.

The Greens had a chance to grab a consolation when Ollie Treacher was sent off for handball in the area, but Lewis Coyle missed from the penalty spot.
