NORTH Leigh manager John Brough is relishing his side’s status as underdogs as they travel to Folkestone Invicta tomorrow in the second qualifying round of the Buildbase FA Trophy.

The Millers have already enjoyed success against higher-placed sides in the Emirates FA Cup – including against tomorrow’s hosts.

Brough’s side shocked Folkestone 3-1 in the third qualifying round of that competition and the North Leigh boss is hopeful of causing another upset this weekend.

He said: “We go there as underdogs again, but we’re used to that feeling and we look forward to it.

“It’s a one-off game, so we can go there without fear and hopefully with a bit of confidence.

“If we get a result it will be an upset, but we’ve done that a few times already this season.

“It’s nice going into a game where you’re not expected to get the result, because it takes a bit of the pressure and expectation off your shoulders.

“When you’re underdogs you do tend to lift your game a bit.”

The Millers are without winger Morgan Williams due to a knee injury, Jon Else is unavailable and Bradley Gray is cup-tied.

Eric Odhiambo begins a four-match suspension after being sent off in last week’s 3-2 defeat at Wimborne Town – his second dismissal in four weeks.

However, they could welcome back goalkeeper Conor Thompson from a hamstring injury and forward Jamie Cook after a knee problem.
