FEARLESS North Leigh boss John Brough will not rein in his side’s attacking outlook as they look to cause an Emirates FA Cup shock away to Eastleigh in the fourth qualifying round tomorrow.

Seventy places in the football pyramid separate the Millers from their Vanarama National League hosts, whose frontline includes former Oxford United striker James Constable.

But while other sides might look to keep their opponents at bay, Brough’s side – who are unbeaten in 11 games in Evo-Stik Southern League Division 1 South & West – will not change their approach.

“We’re not going to go there to defend – it’s a one-off game and anything can happen,” said Brough.

“We’ve put together a team of forward-thinking players and it’s not in their nature to try and shut up shop.”

Brough has experience of causing cup upsets, going as far as the fifth round during his playing days with Cheltenham Town.

But tomorrow will be a step into the unknown as he manages at this stage of the competition for the first time.

“To be honest, my record in cup competitions before I came here wasn’t great,” he said.

“But we’re on a roll and if a club like ours can get into the first round proper it will be a massive achievement.”

Defender Stuart Hole and midfielder Wayne Turk are set to return, having been rested for Tuesday’s FA Trophy victory over Bridgwater Town.

But Callum McNish is out (hamstring) and Jamie Cook is a doubt (knee).
