MARTIN Wilkinson last night quit as Kidlington manager.
A statement on the club’s website thanked the boss for bringing success to Yarnton Road.
“Martin Wilkinson has resigned as Kidlington FC’s 1st team manager,” it read.
“His management team & squad have been contacted; a committee meeting will convene ASAP.
“Kidlington FC are indebted to ‘Wilky’s’ dedication during his time with us, during which he achieved the club’s long term objective to compete at step 4, Southern League football.”
Wilkinson led the side to the Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division title last season, but they are still looking for their first Evo-Stik Southern League Division 1 Central victory this campaign.
