OXFORD City need to be on top form if they are to avoid an Oxfordshire Senior Cup semi-final upset against Kidlington at Thame United this evening, according to general manager Justin Merritt.

City are three leagues above the Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division champions, but are winless in their last six games and Merritt believes that run could continue if his players don't take it seriously.

"That's what happens in football when the higher placed side aren't on their game," he said.

"If our players aren't fully focused that's how upsets are caused."

Youngster Tyriq Hunte is cup-tied, having already featured for Oxford City Nomads in the competition, and full-back David King is suspended.

Matt Bevans returns to the squad and Paul Stonehouse faces a fitness test after a hamstring injury, but City are still without Darren Pond (ankle), Alejandro-Adrian Santiago (back), Marlon Jackson (calf), Kaylem Patterson (groin) and Ander Del Alamo (ankle).

Jimmy Deabill misses out for the Greens with a suspected fractured foot, while Henry Owen is a doubt with a knee injury.

Didcot Town travel to Burnham in Evo-Stik Southern League Division 1 South & West without Graham Edney due to work commitments and Jack Self with an ankle injury.

Anything less than a victory for the hosts would see them relegated and secure Wantage Town's safety.
