ANACLET Odhiambo fired Kidlington to the top of the table with a 1-0 win over Flackwell Heath.

The Greens went a point clear of Thatcham Town, with two games in hand over their promotion rivals.

Kidlington piled on the early pressure and Ryan Brooks shaved the outside of a post.

Dan Malloy fired over for the visitors, before Brooks shot straight at Dan Weait.

In the second half, Eric Odhiambo hit the bar.

But the pressure paid off on 54 minutes as Anaclet Odhiambo flicked home Lewis Coyle’s cross.

Kidlington kept pressing, but the bar denied Brooks.

They face Tuffley Rovers today.

Meanwhile, Oxford City Nomads thumped Milton United 5-0.

In Division 1 West, North Leigh United beat Letcombe 4-1 at home.

The hosts went into the break 2-0 up, thanks to Jozef Fullerton’s strike and an Alfie Saunders penalty.

Richie Claydon reduced the arrears, but Andy Goodchild’s own goal and Fullterton’s second sealed victory.
