KIDLINGTON look to take one step closer to Wembley as they host Knaphill in the fourth round of the FA Vase tomorrow.

The suspended Lewis Coyle and Ben Willoughby miss out for the Greens, but skipper Tom Franklin returns to lead the home side as they look to continue their fine form.

Kidlington have won 11 of their last 12 matches in all competitions and are third in the Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division.

After disposing of Ashford United, former winners Deal Town and Thame United, they are now looking to equal their greatest ever run.

The only previous occasion they have competed in the fifth round was in their first appearance in 1977, when they lost to Gosport Borough.

The visitors, 14th in the Combined Counties League Premier Division, are already enjoying their best run in the Vase, but are in indifferent form after losing their last two league matches.

In contrast, Kidlington are currently on a five-match winning streak in all competitions, most recently following up a 7-1 Oxfordshire Senior Cup victory over Mansfield Road with an 8-1 hammering of Oxford City Nomads in the league.

Abingdon United will be without Oxford United loanees Seth Humphries and Charlie Hawtin as they host Tytherington Rocks in the second round of the Hellenic League’s Bluefin Challenge Cup tomorrow.

Jack Ross returns to the squad after a lengthy injury as United hope to extend their unbeaten run to three matches.
