FOOTBALL: Wantage Town struggling to compete for players admits boss Barry
Wantage Town boss Daniel Barry admitted his side are struggling to compete for players with sides in lower divisions.
The Alfredians travel to Wimborne Town in Evo-Stik Southern League Division 1 South & West tomorrow having lost striker Sam Collier to Purton and player-coach Tom Butler to Highworth.
Barry said: “We need to recruit a coach and bring in new faces, but it’s difficult due to some Hellenic Leagueteams paying significantly more than us.”
Aaron Ferris, Ed Cavanagh and Jared Jones return for Wantage.
