CAPTAIN Luke Carnell hit a second-half hat trick as Didcot Town beat Bishops Cleeve 5-1 in the Evo-Stik Southern League last night.
The Railwaymen led 2-1 at half-time in the Division 1 South & West clash, before their captain took centre stage after the break.
Carnell headed home No 3 on 56 minutes, before then lashing in his second of the game with four minutes remaining.
He then completed his treble from the penalty spot a minute later.
Conor McDonagh had put Didcot in front before Leroy Odiero equalised.
Josh Dutton-Black restored the hosts’ lead shortly afterwards, before Carnell took over.
Banbury United were held to a 1-1 draw at Marlow.
Leam Howards fired Mike Ford’s side ahead, but they were forced to take a point when the hosts, who had been reduced to ten men, levelled 18 minutes from time through Chris Ovenden.
Wantage Town drew 2-2 at AFC Totton.
After falling behind, the visitors hit back to take the lead through Carl Evans and Ben Whitehead before being pegged back.
