Didcot Town are preparing for life without the goals of strikers John Mills and Pablo Haysham.
Mills hit a staggering 57 goals last season, while Haysham chipped in with 13, but neither will spend pre-season with Didcot.
With Haysham training with National League South side Oxford City and Mills attracting interest from higher-ranked clubs, managers Ian Concannon and Jamie Heapy are planning without the pair.
Concannon said: “We’re approaching pre-season with the knowledge that we won’t have either of those two with us.
“They’ve had opportunities and they want to see what else is out there and we respect that, but our door is still open to both of them if it doesn’t work out."
However, the rest of last season’s squad have verbally agreed to remain at Draycott Engineering Loop Meadow for another season as Didcot look to build on their seventh-placed finish in Evo-Stik Southern League Division 1 South & West.
“We said from the start that we didn’t want to lose anyone from this season’s squad and for the most part we haven’t,” said Concannon.
