Despite dominating much of the Evo-Stik Southern League Division 1 South & West game, North Leigh had to settle for a point on their first visit AFC Totton's Testwood Stadium.
The Millers went behind after six minutes. A mix-up just outside the box gifted the ball to Totton’s Nathaniel Sherborne whose cross into was stabbed home from by Nathan Hurst.
Leigh put the Totton defence under sustained pressure.
Kieran Sanders, Morgan Williams and Michael Hopkins were giving the right side of the home defence so much grief that fullback Ellis White was booked for a number of over energetic late tackles and subbed at half-time.
Hopkins had a snapshot from 12 yards that whistled just over the bar before the visitors equalised in the 40th minute.
Sanders beat the full back and ran parallel to the bye-line before passing to Zak Westlake, who clipped home from close range.
Callum McNish set up a number of chances for North Leigh in the second half , the best of which saw Jamie Cook scuff his close-range shot.
At the other end, North Leigh keeper Matt Bulman did well to thwart two breakaway chances for the home side.
North Leigh: Bulman, Hole, Hopkins, Osborne-Ricketts, Westlake, Caton, Bowles, McNish, Cook, Sanders (Hughes 78), Williams Sub not used: Gunn.
Attendance: 294.
