Mark Gee is hopeful his side’s individual quality will tell as they look to leapfrog hosts Larkhall Athletic into the Evo-Stik Southern League Division 1 South & West play-off places tomorrow.

Larkhall, in their first season at Southern League level, are three points ahead of the Millers and Gee knows they will be tough opponents.

“They’ve had a fantastic season to get to where they are,” he said.

“I think individually we have better players, but collectively they have more points than us, so we can’t underestimate them.”

Midfielders Brian Bowles, Elliot Osborne-Ricketts and Morgan Williams are all potential injury doubts.

Didcot Town will look to overcome the odds as they seek to end a nine-match winless streak at home to league leaders Merthyr Town.

However, despite their dreadful run of form, which has seen them drop out of the play-off positions, joint boss Ian Concannon feels the Railwaymen have been playing better than their results might suggest.

“Performance-wise I think we’re playing well enough to win games,” he said.

“I’m disappointed we haven’t turned draws into wins and that we’ve lost games we should have taken at least a point from.”

Midfielder Josh Dutton-Black is absent due to work commitments, while striker Jimmy Deabill faces a fitness test.

Wantage Town are at home to Mangotsfield United.
