North Leigh manager Mark Gee is eyeing back-to-back league victories for the first time this season as his side host Fleet Town in Evo-Stik Southern League Division 1 South & West.

The Millers recovered from last weekend’s 1-0 loss at Swindon Supermarine to beat Wimborne Town on Wednesday and Gee hopes it is the start of a good run.

“We played very poorly on Saturday, but we had a few words about that and also our league position,” he said. “Everyone agreed that we’re perhaps in a bit of a false position and it’s up to us now to put it right.

“We’ve got a nice run of fixtures coming up and the games come thick and fast, so we have a great chance to play ourselves into form.”

Wantage Town welcome back Nick Thorne and Tai Hulbert-Thomas for the visit of Yate Town.

Boss Daniel Barry is still looking for his first win after they lost 3-0 at Clevedon on Tuesday.

“After some positive performances, we let ourselves down on Tuesday,” said Barry.

“This weekend we will look to put this right and return back to the quality levels in previous weeks.”
