North Leigh boss Mark Gee admitted it is a relief to be back in action away to Swindon Supermarine tomorrow in Evo-Stik Southern League Division 1 South & West, writes Matthew Bruce.
The Millers’ last outing was a sensational 11-0 mauling of Bashley a fortnight ago, but the enforced break came at the worst possible time.
“If you’re in good form, as we have been coming off the back of our 11-0 win against Bashley, you want to play as much as possible,” Gee said.
“We’ve been scoring lots of goals and playing really well, so you really want to be playing twice a week.”

After an indifferent start, North Leigh are unbeaten in more than a month and find themselves just five points outside the play-offs.
Gee believes his side have turned the corner, but knows consistency is the key if they are to climb the table.
He said: “I think results are reflecting our performances.
“We want to go into the festive period in good form, so it would be good to build a bit of momentum now.”
Midfielder Michael Hopkins will miss the trip due to suspension, while Stuart Hole is away on honeymoon.
TOMORROW’S SQUAD
North Leigh (v Swindon Supermarine, away): from Bulman, Turk, Gunn, Caton, Else, Ingram, Cook, A Woodley, Williams, Lewis, Bowles, Westlake, Osborne-Ricketts.
